Competition News - October 2011
Our annual October outing to Little Downham was blessed with the tail-end of the heat wave and high winds. Both Intermediate and Advanced classes proved testing, but Barcelona consolidated her return to form with an Intermediate placing, and Haarlem skipped happily round the Advanced track just two weeks after his CCI3* run in Ireland. |

Competition News - September 2011
At the 11th hour, after a nail-biting wait we found that Haarlem had narrowly missed getting into Blenheim CCI3* so we re-routed at very short notice to Ballindenisk CCI3* in Co Cork the following week. We had a lovely week in Ireland and Haarlem duly delivered the result needed to renew his 4* qualification. |

Stud News - TBF Show September 2011
We were delighted that Undine and Toscana were both awarded Potential Premium status, with Undine later confirmed as Premium after her performance test, along with Bronte Heights (by Hannibal) who we presented for her owner. Undine was also Mare Grading Champion and Reserve Champion of the free jumping. |

Stud News - August 2011
Godington Basileus has settled in well with his new owner and has attracted many positive comments from people who have seen him in dressage competition where he has been achieving percentages in the high 60s. We have also heard great things of Godington Tarik who has been achieving similar scores with his owner in Kent. |

Competition News - July/August 2011
Contis accidentally gained another point at Aston le Walls, pushing him out of Novice. Fortunately his Intermediate run at Wilton Park went smoothly, and Umbria had a good run in the Novice at the same venue. Meanwhile Haarlem returned from injury to a good warm up run at Highclere in preparation for Blenheim. |

Stud News - June/July 2011
All of our broodmares have now foaled down safely, and we have yet again an exceptional foal crop. Uppsala, Casablanca and Pr & St Pr St Prettiness have all produced beautiful fillies - for more pictures, please see our gallery. Both Hannibal and Contis have continued to attract strong support and the first Embryo Transfer foal by Contis was born. |

Competition News - May/June 2011
Haarlem was selected to go to Luhmühlen CCI4* in June but banged his leg during last minute showjumping practise and had to withdraw, to our intense frustration. Contis had two good Novice runs in May at Aston le Walls and Brigstock where he was placed 2nd each time, and Barcelona returned early from her rest to have three good Open Novice runs. |

Stud News - April 2011
The interest in the sales horses has continued the trend started in January with Godington Primavera, as both Godington Basileus and Godington Asfodel found new homes in April. We wish their new owners a long and successful relationship with each of these lovely young horses. |

Competition News - April 2011
After a double clear at Aston le Walls unaffiliated on the 16th April, the first affiliated run of the season for Contis was at Milton Keynes. He continued where he finished off last year by taking second place in the BE100Plus class, despite a little excitability in the dressage phase. |

Stud News - January 2011
Our investment in American distribution of Hannibal semen seems to have borne early fruit, with our agent Christine already calling for more supplies. There has also been early interest in our horses for sale in the UK, with Godington Primavera finding a new home this month. An exciting group of youngsters are waiting to be restarted after their winter break and will soon be offered for sale. |
